National Vendor Declaration/Waybill.
The National Vendor Declaration/Waybill is a declaration by the producers regarding the food safety status for the livestock being sold. The NVD/Waybill is also a legal document for the transportation of livestock. It is important that The NVD/ Waybill is correct and fully completed and must accompany livestock to the sale yards.

LPA Accreditation
If your Property Identification Code is not printed on your NVD/ waybill you may not be Fully Accreditated with the LPA. For more information go to the MLA website
National Livestock Identification System
The National Livestock Identification System has been introduced to improve the identification and traceability of livestock. Allowing individual animals to be indentified electronically and tracked from birth to slaughter– for food safety, product integrity and market access purposes. It is now mandatory that all cattle have to be fitted with an NLIS device. Visit the MLA website here for further details.
Client Declaration Form
If you have not sold cattle through Ray Donovan Stock and Station before you will need to fill out a Client Declaration form. If you need a form call us on (02) 6643 4411 or email us on reception@raydonovan.com.au
If you have only ever purchased cattle through Ray Donovan Stock and Station please contact the office to check all your details (e.g. your ABN, which is not required for purchases) are correct.
